Veronica has been providing social work services to veterans and the elderly since graduating from Southern Connecticut State University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Veronica recently earned the designation of Licensed Masters Social Worker in 2016.
Veronica began her professional career at the Veteran’s Health Administration in West Haven, CT, where she assisted veterans with spinal cord injuries and provided palliative care services. In addition, she delivered case management services to the elderly, connecting them to community resources and home care planning.
In her recent position as the Director of Social Services for the Quinnipiac Valley Center in Wallingford, CT, Veronica leads a comprehensive social services program and manages a caseload of 65-70 patients. Along with her team, she provides psychosocial interventions for patients and their families.
Veronica’s compassionate and service-focused approach has helped numerous people facing difficult life challenges. This is her passion and what she finds most rewarding.
